Coforma to Support Veteran Healthcare Initiatives as Sub on VHA IHT 2.0 IDIQ

Alongside prime contractors, Rios Partners, we'll help the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) deliver the care those who have served deserve.

Providing better access to healthcare benefits and services for our nation’s Veterans begins at the procurement level. The VHA Integrated Healthcare Transformation (IHT) 2.0 IDIQ contract vehicle aims to facilitate better outcomes in VA healthcare-related service procurement, drive cost savings, and improve the overall return on VA expenditures, delivering value for Veterans.

We are honored to join our prime teammates at Rios Partners as a subcontractor on this new endeavor. The 10-year, multiple-award contract vehicle will enable us to combine areas of expertise to provide tailored healthcare-related technology and services that support VA programs.

This contract vehicle focuses on working with Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs), enabling companies led by disabled Veterans to lend their perspective on how VA develops and delivers its healthcare services.

“We’re excited to collaborate with Rios Partners and the other mission-driven teams on this vehicle,” says Coforma CEO Eduardo Ortiz, a Marine Corps Veteran. “It means we can bring our expertise in digital modernization to a range of Veteran healthcare challenges and help VA efficiently and effectively meet the needs of former service members and their families.”

Through our work on IHT 2.0, we’ll support VA’s mission to improve healthcare outcomes, drive taxpayer savings, and streamline acquisition processes. Our team will provide innovative, integrated solutions that elevate the quality of services and expand capabilities for VA programs.

Building on our experience in modernizing digital services for Veterans on projects such as the Benefits Tools Crew, we will leverage our strengths in agile development and human-centered design to help the VA provide the level of support our Veterans have earned.
