We are honored to announce that Team Coforma has been awarded a one-year prime contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), continuing our work on VA.gov Product Teams - Benefits Tools Crew. This effort ensures Veterans can manage their benefits claims and access avenues to appeal unfavorable decisions.
Coforma and our subcontractor partner, Ad Hoc LLC, share VA’s vision for creating a claims and appeals experience that strengthens Veterans’ trust and confidence in a process that can sometimes be overwhelming and confusing. Through this work, we’ll help VA increase transparency and streamline claims processes so Veterans can take action on their claims with confidence and clarity.
“Our deep experience within the VA environment and in building digital products for Veteran communities allows us to make a meaningful impact on this project,” says Eduardo Ortiz, CEO and Founding Co-owner at Coforma. “We’ve spent several years learning the ins and outs of VA’s landscape so we can better help the agency achieve its goals and improve the Veteran claims experience.”
Coforma and Ad Hoc have extensive collective experience with VA and Veterans in the claim benefits space, enabling us to collaborate effectively within the complex VA ecosystem and support the realization of prioritized user and business outcomes.
The $4.6M Benefits Tools Crew contract is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside contract on VA’s Customer Experience, DevOps, Agile Releases (CEDAR) IDIQ. Coforma has previously supported VA on seven contracts, including Clinical Decision Support - Applications, VA.gov Benefits and Claims, and VA’s Centralized Content, Accessibility, and Information Architecture Team.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to continue our commitment to Veteran communities, expanding our growing body of work to research, design, and build Veteran-centered services and products that undeniably improve our world.
